In her spare time, when she is not being entertained by, or walking her rescued Maltese, Aspen, Pat enjoys spending time with her family, including her 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren. Her ‘hidden’ passion is to be a member of a dynamic, performing Improv Group again. In the quiet moments; her spirituality is an important aspect of her life and spends time each day contemplating her own personal growth and the importance of compassion and understanding for all beings.

Pat founded Bookkeeping Plus in July of 1999. Prior to starting Bookkeeping Plus, she worked for 25 years in the auto dealer industry, including spending 15 years as Controller for a large dealership in the Chicago suburbs. Pat relocated to San Francisco in 1995, where she continued to work in accounting for 4 years, before she realized she had a great desire to help small businesses. She saw a need for small businesses to have a partner in all bookkeeping aspects, a role that often isn’t full time in smaller companies, yet is essential in running an efficient company. This vision held true, she often realizes that the biggest hurdle for a new company, and some established ones,  is the need for a financial partner as most “creatives” don’t have the accounting or organizational background that a company needs to grow and thrive.

Pat feels very blessed to be working with a very dynamic team of women who share her sense of high integrity, professionalism, united vision, and who work together impeccably.

The backbone of Bookkeeping Plus+ is our team. Below you can get to know us a little better.

Pam is a bookkeeper and our Office/Operations Manager; she has been with Bookkeeping Plus since January 2009. She came to Bookkeeping Plus from Las Vegas where she worked for over 10 years as the Operations/Office Manager for an Electrical Contractor; prior to that she worked over 10 years as the bookkeeper for a very busy Ophthalmology office.  She really appreciates her co-workers at Bookkeeping Plus for their team spirit, and how they always help and support each other.  Since Bookkeeping Plus has such a varied clientele, she loves that she is always learning and growing, while using her many years of experience to serve her clients daily needs.  In her spare time she enjoys reading, long walks (taking in the trails, beaches and waves of Pacifica) and watching live music.


Melissa has been with Bookkeeping Plus since September 2015 and serves as one of our Team Bookkeepers. She came to us after selling her successful Bridal store in Downtown Burlingame, that she owned for 3 years with her sister. Prior to being a business owner, she was working as an Office Manager, including Bookkeeping and Payroll in construction for 9 years.
Melissa loves the environment at Bookkeeping Plus and that she gets to interact with her clients directly, while also being part of a great team in the office. She also enjoys that she continues to grow and continue to expand her knowledge in finance and accounting.

In her spare time, Melissa enjoys volunteering with her husband, working on their house, and spending time with their families.

Linda came to Bookkeeping Plus in March 2016 and serves as a Team Bookkeeper.  She comes with a background Controller for various companies, including one with 8 entities, including operations in Asia, and Marketing companies. In addition, she was a Product Specialist for financial applications at a software company.  At Bookkeeping Plus, Linda enjoys the environment and team spirit along with the the variety of clients and their companies. She appreciates that she gets to have a more personal relationship with her clients.

Linda spends spare time with family and friends, enjoys cooking and gardening. She and her boyfriend walk their rescue Border Collie /Australian Cattle Dog, Zest, on trails and along the beach. 

Denise has been with Bookkeeping Plus since 2006 and was the first bookkeeper hired on as the business began to grow.  She comes with a background in Accounts Receivable as a former department head for a local construction firm and she also brings with her many years’ experience in the hospitality field. She now uses her “customer service” expertise to serve her clients’ bookkeeping needs.   As an employee with Bookkeeping Plus she really appreciates how personal ownership is encouraged, and that she is trusted to take personal care of her clients.  She takes great pride in her work and is grateful to be part of a team that shares that pride and supports each other in delivering the best possible work each day.

In her spare time, Denise volunteers her massage services for women living with various stages of cancer and serves as an activist for peace in her community.  She also enjoys learning about sustainable gardening, cycling around SF and diving into a good book (whenever she can find a spare moment or two).
